KCD Software, a leading provider of innovative software solutions for custom cabinet and closet professionals, has announced the acquisition of CADCode Systems.
As a prominent developer of advanced CNC machining software, CADCode Systems enhances KCD Software’s portfolio and solidifies the company’s commitment to deliver cutting-edge tool options for the woodworking and manufacturing industries.
“We are thrilled to welcome CADCode Systems into the KCD Software family,” said Cadman Campbell, president of KCD Software.
“This acquisition is a natural fit for our mission to empower everyone from designers to manufacturers with powerful, intuitive software solutions. CADCode has been a true pioneer in production automation and CNC integration, shaping the industry with its innovative technologies. Their expertise perfectly complements our existing product offerings, allowing us to provide a seamless workflow from design to production.”
Founded in 1982, KCD Software has been at the forefront of providing award-winning design-to-manufacture software tailored to custom cabinet & closet professionals. By integrating CADCode Systems’ advanced CNC and optimization technologies, KCD Software will now offer expanded solutions with the capability to enhance automation, improve material yield, and increase production efficiency.
CADCode Systems, based in Skillman, NJ, has earned a reputation for its robust software solutions that enable manufacturers to optimize workflows and reduce waste. With this acquisition, KCD Software plans to integrate CADCode’s technologies into its CNC suite of solutions while continuing to support and enhance CADCode’s existing offerings for its loyal customer base.
Ned Brown, president and founder of CADCode Systems, will continue working closely with KCD Software on future projects and integrations. His ongoing involvement will ensure that the combined expertise of both companies drives innovation and excellence, further enhancing the value delivered to our customers.
“Joining forces with Cabinotch as part of their vision for KCD Software is an exciting new chapter for CADCode Systems,” Brown said. “Having worked with Cabinotch for 10 years, I’m happy to entrust CADCode’s future to them and believe they will continue to redefine what’s possible in design and manufacturing.”
Campbell added, “What makes this partnership truly special is our shared roots - CADCode was created by a cabinetmaker for cabinetmakers, just like KCD Software. That deep understanding of the industry’s challenges and needs is what drives us. Our backgrounds in cabinetry give us unique insight into what professionals require to succeed, and with this acquisition, we are furthering our mission to provide practical, powerful solutions that help businesses grow and thrive.”
The acquisition underscores KCD Software’s growth strategy and commitment to staying at the cutting edge of technology in the woodworking and manufacturing sectors. Customers of both companies can expect a smooth transition and enhanced offerings as the integration progresses.
