Woodworking Technology Days (WTD), presented by the Canadian Woodworking Machinery Distributors Association (CWMDA), is the annual machinery event you don’t want to miss.
The 6th edition will run for four days, Tuesday to Friday, Oct. 21-24, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., at member showrooms in Mississauga, Brampton and Cambridge.
As always, WTD will bring you “more machinery, more demonstrations, more technology,” as CWMDA members continue to invest in larger, top-of-the-line facilities.
BIESSE is back this year, tripling in size with its new state of the art Tech Center, adding to the impressive new showrooms inaugurated a few months ago by WEINIG HOLZ-HER and TAURUS CRACO. In addition, with members IMA Schelling, Akhurst, HOMAG, SCM, Felder and Normand, this means WTD visitors can now access a total of nine showrooms, representing a 30 per cent + increase in terms of square footage.
WTD is different from a generalist trade show as it focuses on production and specialized machinery, along with related software and tooling presentations. This formula allows for a more personalized and professional approach, giving the visitor the opportunity to discuss their applications in detail with specialists, while avoiding the crowd.
Several of the innovations presented are typically introduced at major international fairs.
More than ever, WTD is the machinery event not to miss in Canada.
