Participants are working on their projects at the 2024 AWMAC Ontario Apprenticeship Contest.
AWMAC Ontario is looking forward to once again hold its annual apprenticeship contest on Saturday, March 22, this time at Humber College in Etobicoke, Ontario.
The apprenticeship contest is an opportunity for participants to compete and show off their skills. There are cash prizes for the top three winners. First place will receive $500, second place $250, and third place $100.
The first place project will also be entered into the national apprenticeship contest in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
AWMAC members are encouraged to stop in during the context as it represents a great opportunity to chat with and encourage up-and-coming woodworking students.
All participants receive a certificate of participation and food & beverages will be provided as well as swag bags for all participants.
AWMAC is still accepting swag bag items for each of the participants - 10 of each item. This is a great opportunity for members to add a little something participants will be able to use or wear with pride.
“Thank you to all those who have sponsored this event. Without your continued support we would not be able to host this annual contest.”
The event kicks of at 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 22, at Humber College, 110 Carrier Drive, Etobicoke.
