There is still time to register for the Wood Manufacturing Cluster of Ontario’s tour of Toyota Canada in Cambridge, Ontario.
Toyota is the world leader in Lean manufacturing, where the principles of continuous improvement all began. The Toyota Production System (aka Lean) has become the benchmark for process efficiency worldwide.
During this tour, you’ll witness first hand how team members and robots work together to build vehicles, all within the framework of Lean manufacturing principles. The post-tour debrief will help connect the experience to continuous improvement strategies for your manufacturing facility.
The tour runs from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and will be followed by a Networking Lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. hosted at Edelweiss Tavern.
In-person Toyota Cambridge plant tour will show lean in action, followed by a discussion: What did you see and what did you miss and what can you apply to your own manufacturing facility?
