The Architectural Woodwork Manufacturers Association of Canada (AWMAC) has announced the appointment of Carolynne Yeomans to the position of national executive director, effective Feb. 3.
“Yeomans is a motivated, and mission-driven nonprofit executive, with a track record in strategic leadership, partnership development, and driving sustainable growth. She deeply understands the complexities of industry sector focused, growing member-based organizations, and her unique mix of skills and leadership qualities position her for success in leading our organization forward in support of our mission as the national voice of Canada’s architectural woodwork industry.”
“I could not be more grateful to accept the position as National Executive Director to this well-established and well-loved organization that consists of an extremely talented team and long history of dedicated members and industry partners.” says Yeomans.
“My goal in leading this organization is to build on the achievements of the past 55 years and to focus on growth, continuing to advance the use of AWMAC’s Standards for the manufacturing and installation of architectural woodwork, and promote assurance of adherence to those quality standards and sustainable practices in the woodwork industry.”
