WMS 2025 moves to Toronto Congress Centre.
Canada's premier woodworking event, the Woodworking Machinery & Supply Conference and Expo (WMS), is set to make a significant move in 2025.
From Nov. 12-14, the show will call the Toronto Congress Centre home, offering attendees and exhibitors a significantly enhanced experience. This move marks an exciting new chapter for WMS, building on the success of previous shows and promising an even more robust event for the Canadian woodworking industry.
The move to the Toronto Congress Centre, strategically located near Pearson International Airport, provides WMS with a larger floor plan, offering exhibitors greater flexibility in booth configuration and maximizing visibility. Attendees will also benefit from a more spacious and easier-to-navigate expo floor. This expansion has already proven popular; with exhibit space requests running ahead of the successful 2023 show. This strong early interest underscores the importance of WMS as a vital national forum for showcasing the latest advancements in machinery and supplies.
"We're incredibly excited about the move to the Toronto Congress Centre for WMS 2025,” said Tim Fixmer, CEO of CCI Media Canada, owner of the biennial event.
“This new modern venue offers us the space and flexibility to create an even more dynamic and valuable experience for both our exhibitors and attendees, with ample, convenient parking for all. The increased floor space allows for more innovative booth designs, easier navigation, and ultimately, a better opportunity for everyone to connect and discover the latest advancements in the woodworking industry.
With this great new venue, we’ve been able to add CEU sessions and a Closets Symposium for attendees, and SuperSuites for exhibitors. We're confident that WMS 2025 at the Toronto Congress Centre will be a landmark event."
WMS has long served as a critical link between suppliers and customers, and the 2025 edition promises to build on this tradition. Attendees can expect a solid base of machinery and supply exhibitors, representing the cutting edge of woodworking technology from around the globe. This provides a unique opportunity to explore the newest equipment, materials, and services all under one roof.
Beyond the impressive exhibits, WMS 2025 will offer a wealth of educational and networking opportunities. The free WMS Live conference will return, featuring a diverse range of sessions covering timely topics relevant to today's woodworking professionals. From industry trends and technological advancements to workforce development and marketing strategies, WMS Live provides valuable insights and practical knowledge. Adding to the educational offerings, WMS is introducing a new education program through which attendees can earn CEUs (Continuing Education Units), further enhancing the value of attending the show.
Additionally, the publishers of Closets & Organized Storage magazine are organizing a Closets Symposium. Presenters at this full-day conference will offer valuable insights into the thriving closets and home storage market. The symposium will conclude with a tour of a local closet showroom and manufacturing plant.
The popular WMS Live Auction, in partnership with Boss Auctions, returns this year. This exciting event allows attendees to bid on a variety of woodworking equipment, materials, and supplies, both on-site and online. The auction provides a unique opportunity to acquire valuable items at competitive prices.
WMS 2025 at the Toronto Congress Centre is poised to be a most anticipated wood industry event of the year in Canada. With its expanded space, strong exhibitor base, free educational conference, Closets Symposium, new CEU program, and exciting auction, WMS is the must-attend event for professional woodworkers and industry suppliers alike.
