Kasia Robinson

The Architectural Woodwork Manufacturers Association of Canada (AWMAC) National Board of Directors is pleased to welcome of Kasia Robinson as the National GIS Program Manager.
The Guarantee and Inspection Service (GIS) is a national initiative that has been developed over the past two decades, aimed at ensuring the delivery of high-quality architectural woodwork for every project. While AWMAC has an existing dedicated team in place to manage the program, the board recognized that appointing a dedicated program manager would elevate the GIS program to new heights.
In alignment with AWMAC's strategic objectives for 2025, the GIS program manager will play a pivotal role in the growth of the GIS program over the next one to three years. As GIS transitions to become the central focus of AWMAC, all other goals and resources will be integrated into this program. The GIS program manager will contribute to the promotion of GIS, facilitating AWMAC's progression toward its vision, to be the architectural woodwork industry authority in Canada.
Kasia Robinson has been actively engaged with AWMAC for 18 years, serving in various capacities and upholding a family legacy of involvement. Throughout her tenure, she has contributed to numerous projects, establishing a solid foundation for her newly developed collaborative role within the association. Kasia embodies both enthusiasm and expertise, which she brings to this position,
“I am beyond excited for this role, for me it feels like a full-circle moment from where I started as a chapter admin, then volunteer with AWMAC on various committees and the national board,” Robinson says. “Creating this position is a huge step forward for the GIS program and the Association. We are going to do great things together.”
AWMAC is enthusiastic about progressing into 2025, acknowledging the dedication of both staff and volunteers who contribute significantly to its daily operations.
