Diamond CNC has entered into an agreement with CNC Automation to fully automate their panel processing operation backed by the functionality of Nanxing machinery with their automation and software partners.
CNC Automation recently became the exclusive distributor for Nanxing Machinery in Canada and at IWF 2024 in Atlanta, they signed their first contract with a Canadian customer - Diamond CNC - for a fully-automated solution.
This is a two-phase project with Phase 1 due to be completed by the end of December and Phase 2 scheduled for completion by the end of July 2025.
This project features an automated panel storage warehouse, twin gantry CNC, two edgebanders, six-sided drilling station, automated dowelling operation and a kitting operation for cabinet assembly as well as several robotic arms, all background driven by state-of-the-art software allowing for a completely automated production operation.
This investment in technology will allow Diamond CNC, led by Mike and Rob Clare, to continue its growth plans while continuing to deliver quality products to the woodworking industry from their 32,000 sq. ft. facility in Nanitcoke, Ontario.
CNC Automation is excited to be the supplier of choice for this project and strengthening its partnership with Diamond CNC.
According to Rob Clare, president of Diamond CNC, the company will be documenting its progress with the new technology on its YouTube channel and you can follow them here.
