The Wood Design Show (WDS), a leading design, architecture and manufacturing tradeshow will be held in Quebec City at the Centre des congrès de Québec October 11-12.
Created to meet the needs of designers and architects looking for a show focused entirely on interior design materials, this not-to-miss event does just that with its unique industry sessions. Exhibitors, conference speakers, and attendees include the who’s who of the industry.
This year’s event includes many new and exciting features such as an expanded show floor space with three conference stages and two lounges. Additionally, WDS will be hosting a first ever VIP networking cocktail dînatoire Oct. 11 in the evening and a mid-day Bubbles and Beans closing event on Oct. 12.
“With more than 50,000 sq. ft. of floor space comprising more than 50 exhibitors and three conference stages, this year’s show will no doubt exceed the expectations of our visitors who include architects, designers, cabinetmakers and woodworkers, manufacturers, key associations, and other industry professionals. The WDS is an event not to be missed. It’s THE tradeshow to network with clients, prospects, and suppliers all under one roof,” said Caroline Brassard, DSR and Events Manager at Design Spec Rep.
The diverse list of exhibitors includes everything from material and equipment manufacturers and distributors to digital technology provides, trade associations, and builders/promoters.
Conferences
Visitors can participate in eight free conferences produced by INDEX-DESIGN. The conferences will be led by professionals with extensive expertise in architecture, design, and trend research representing some of the most recognized firms in Quebec who will share best practices and practical examples showcased through case studies and inspiring content. There will be two additional conference rooms dedicated to product presentations, training, and networking sessions hosted by exhibitors, ensuring that show visitors become industry insiders learning about the newest products and solutions.
