Toyota is the world leader where Lean-manufacturing principles started. The Toyota Production System (aka. Lean) has become the benchmark for process improvement worldwide.
WMCO again offers an exciting experience for members at the Toyota Cambridge Plant, followed by educational debrief with Lean experts providing insight on what you have seen and experienced. Participants will experience the heart of Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada Inc. to see how team members and robots build vehicles, all in the context of Lean manufacturing principles. The event debrief will help you understand how the tour applies to continuous improvement activities in your manufacturing operations!
The in-person plant tour of Toyota’s Cambridge plant includes a pre-tour primer on what to look for and following the tour there will be a chance to review the tour and Lean practices with experts.
