REHAU has published its sustainability report for 2021.
Based on the core elements of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations, the REHAU Group has defined four fields of action in its sustainability strategy: Sustainable Growth, Circular Economy, Climate Protection and Diversity.
"We are particularly pleased that we managed to take further decisive steps based on our sustainability strategy last year. Meeting targets makes us proud and spurs us on even more," says Dr. Uwe H. Böhlke, CEO REHAU Industries SE & Co. KG.
The current report shows that significant progress has already been made. The goal of driving the circular economy and increasing the recycling rate to more than 15 per cent by 2025 compared to the 2016 fiscal year has already been achieved. The target to reduce CO2 emissions by 30 per cent compared to the base year 2018 was also met in 2021.
REHAU sees the further development of its sustainability targets and indicators as a continuous process.
