Frank Sansalone retired from Blum Canada on April 29, after 25 years with the company.
In 1985, upon graduating from Humber College, Sansalone took a job with Fasco bath products, which is where he met Blum Canada’s previous general manager Kevin Tratt, who was that company’s customer service representative at the time.
Tratt eventually left Fasco to work for Blum Canada and in April 1997, Sansalone also made the move to Blum.
“I spent my first two years working for Blum as an outside sales representative and then I moved inside as the technical support representative.”
Later, Sansalone took on most of the marketing activities at Blum and was responsible for all print and digital promotions. He retired as product specialist.
Sansalone was also very involved in trade show planning and with industry associations, in particular AWMAC.
In retirement, Sansalone says he will continue his volunteer work, ride his motorcycle, spend time with friends and take up a few new hobbies as well.
