The 2021 Woodworking Technology Days event organized by the Canadian Woodworking Machinery Distributors Association (CWMDA) is set to run from Monday Nov. 1 to Saturday Nov. 6, and will feature an extensive lineup of equipment including a number of North-American firsts.
Here is some of the equipment and machinery visitors can experience at participating companies.
Homag: CENTATEQ T-300 processing center with tandem 5’ x 10’ tables, allowing the machining of oversized and complex architectural millwork components over a 5x20’ working surface.
Normand: CEHISA DYNAMIC edgebander, with C-Motion technology allowing the operator to program up to 18 motorized axis from control.
SCM: MORBIDELLI X-200 nesting cell with cutting speeds up to 50 m/min that can process a base and upper cabinet under five minutes.
Taurus Craco: GIARDINA 420 spraying machine with two reciprocating arms, designed to spray stain, primer and finishes onto smooth or shaped surfaces.
Akhurst: ANDERSON STRATOS Pro Full Line CNC, integrated/automatic nesting router line reducing cycle times by shortening the loading & unloading operations.
IMA Schelling: NOVIMAT R3, high production edgebander with PUR and laser system for high gloss and other modern materials.
Biesse: ROVER A 1536 FT 5-Axis, new high-performance machining centre for Nesting operations with top-of-the-range technology.
WEINIG HOLZ-HER: STREAMER 1057XL-C edgebander, featuring an industry exclusive at this level VISE “Visual Setting” providing easy-to-use operator guidance for each setting and unit on the machine.
Felder: PROFIT H80 machining center, panel cutting, drilling and milling centre for efficient 4.0 furniture production.
