Hettich Canada has made a number of in-house promotions designed to allow the company to better respond to evolving market and business conditions.
“This enables our organization to continuously adapt to ongoing challenges, both now and in future,” said René Dionne, president of Hettich Canada.
“By ensuring we have the right sets of skills and behaviours in place, the Hettich team will further fuel its organizational agility, a core corporate strength that will continue to enhance the value we bring to our customers.
“So, it is with great pleasure that we announce the following changes.”

Regional sales managers
Marc-André Hétu has been promoted to regional sales manager for Québec.
Hétu has 21 years of experience at Hettich, including the last three-and-a-half years as our distributor-coordinator, where he played a key role in our growth, working hand in hand with the Robert Bury and Commonwealth Plywood teams and in close collaboration with our territory sales representatives.
The main focus of the new regional sales managers is to co-ordinate all sales, marketing and training activities at the distributor level to support our sales development, and to expand and enhance relationships and collaboration within the distribution network.

Josh Ware will assume the position of regional sales manager for Manitoba, Ontario and the Maritimes. Ware, who has been with Hettich for almost two years, has more than 12 years experience in the woodworking industry with companies such as Formica, Commonwealth Plywood and Weston. His experience in supporting the design and specification program for Formica, as well as his knowledge of Hettich’s new CRM/salesforce.com are key assets for the team. In addition to his industry experience, Ware brings a strong appetite for growth, a customer-driven approach and a great industry network.

National technical trainer
Chris Huston has been appointed as national technical trainer. Huston will be responsible for supporting the sales team’s business development initiatives and programs by adapting, developing and delivering all product training programs for customers and by enhancing relationships with our customers at the national level.
He will be the go-to person for all technical support questions for the sales team, and will also drive the product knowledge outreach activities. Also, he will also work closely with trade associations on product knowledge and outreach to members.
Huston has acquired a high level of technical knowledge over the course of his 16 years with the company and he will put this expertise to excellent use in his new role.
