They're getting close, but more support welcome.
HOMAG Canada’s Fill-a-Makor Challenge continues for just a few more days (June 1), which means there is still time to support a good cause.
HOMAG Canada came up with a creative way to support local communities with its Fill-a-Makor Challenge, which has been running since the beginning of May and there is still time to support them.
Marco Fernandes, HOMAG Canada’s managing director, said started the challenge as a way to support their local communities in these difficult times and “decided to use one of our Makor finishing machines and issue a challenge to fill it with non-perishable food items for local food banks.
“Thanks to the generosity of HOMAG employees, customers and industry partners, the Fill-a-Makor Challenge has turned into a huge success with both Montreal and Toronto having their machines nearly full of much-needed groceries for needy families,” Fernandes said.
“Stiles Machinery and Makor Italia have also accepted the challenge and are currently filling their own machines to support their local communities.
“Although we are close to achieving our goal of filling two Makors, we still need your help to complete this very important challenge,” he said.
Donations can be made one of two ways:
By drop off between the front doors at Montreal or Mississauga locations or in the form of a monetary donation.
